Art Chute grew up locally and began his law enforcement career as a Pasadena Police Officer in 1994. Art worked various assignments throughout his career, including Patrol, the Special Enforcement Section, Vice/Narcotics, Detectives, the Training Unit, and Event Planning and Counter-Terrorism.
Bill joined the Pasadena Police Department in 1995 after earning his Bachelor Degree from Cal Poly Pomona. Bill has worked a variety of assignments over his career, including Patrol, Detectives and the Gang Unit. He also spent several years as both an investigator and manager in the Department’s Professional Standards Unit. He served as a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team and was assigned to the Air Operations Section as a unit supervisor.
Javier Aguilar has been with the Pasadena Police Department for 26 years. Javier began his law enforcement career in 1996 and has worked a variety of assignments throughout his career including, vice/street level narcotics, major narcotics, Detectives, Special Enforcement Section, SWAT, and Community Services.
Karen Peterson has been with the Pasadena Police Department for 37 years. Karen began her career with the Department as an Emergency Services Operator in 1985. Karen has worked a variety of assignments including Records, Dispatch and Technical Services. Karen is currently in charge of the Strategic Services Division and oversees the Emergency Communications Section, Records Management Section, Property Unit, Police Fleet and the Department’s technology projects.
Marcia has been with the Pasadena Police Department for 38 years. Marcia began her law enforcement career in 1983 as a Police Cadet and was then hired as a Police Officer. Marcia has worked a variety of assignments including Records, Patrol, Neighborhood Crime Task Force, Research and Development, Crime Analysis, Detectives, Training and Professional Standards. Marcia is currently assigned as the Chief's Adjutant and the Police Department’s Public Information Officer.
