Temporary public art event on January 22, 2012 in which artist Richard Jackson created an enlarged, remote-controlled, balsa wood model airplane, filled it with paints, and crashed it into a large canvas located at the Rose Bowl, Brookside Park, Area H. Event was organized by Armory Center for the Arts as part of the Getty's Pacific Standard Time initiative. It was funded by the Getty and National Endowment fo rthe Arts. An exhibit of the canvas and detritus of the event followed at the Armory Center for the Arts.
