Dr. Crump’s Mobile Field Lab (aka Inductive Geo-Imaging Field Laboratory)

DESCRIPTION

"Dr. Crump's Mobile Field Lab" was a temporary, interactive installation that invited spectators into an artist-created environment. The installation was part of "The Tender Land: Pasadena Festival of Arts, History, Music, and Science," California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, October 9, 2004 - January 31, 2005. The artwork was intended to engage with the city-wide Festival, using the "land" theme. Inside the “laboratory” or trailer, spectators experienced a quirky world of scientific investigation and relics, a space hovering somewhere between science and art, history, and fiction.
