DESCRIPTION
A three-dimensional fountain with a contrasting color scheme of warm coral, orange and yellow hues and cool sea greens and blues. Organic leaf-shaped tiles are placed in different sizes upon a flat tile-covered wall rising from a shallow fountain pool. The interlocking grooves in the tiles give the fountain wall the appearance of water droplets falling upon a background of flat hand cast porcelain tiles. The contrast of earth tones captures the natural landscape of Pasadena, from the mountains bordering the city on the east and the ocean to the west.
