DESCRIPTION
Tile mural incorporating images of Pasadena, San Gabriel Mountains, and City Hall alongside two superimposed views of a smiling, bicycling-riding Albert Einstein. Three-dimensional objects upon window frames create a realistic window display. On the right side of the mural, fragments of a broken tile have been glued to the windowsill below suggesting the damage created by the impact of a baseball hitting an implied glass surface. Objects like this baseball reference the history of the City and its inhabitants, like Jackie Robinson. Albert Einstein was a visiting scholar at Cal Tech in the 1930's.
