DESCRIPTION
Two halves of a natural stone boulder flank the entrance steps directing a path towards a central rock fountain sculpture. "Fountainhead Rockscape" is a 3-dimensional rock sculpture with a central running water element made of plated aluminum. Several rocks are situated in the overall landscape. A fluid stream of water trickles down the front surface of the sculpted rock into the surrounding Mexican black beach pebbles below. The bubbling sound of the water emanating from the sculpture embodies the natural serenity of the local mountains in this urban patio setting.
