DESCRIPTION
Art glass windows by Arthur Stern appear in 2 locations - at the leasing center in the C-2 building and above the entry doors on Green Street. A transom of clear and colored art glass sparkle during the day and glow at night. The design reveals influences of Art Deco and the style of Frank Lloyd Wright found throughout Pasadena. At the rear entrance to the leasing center this streamlined Moderne window design appears in the transom above the door and a large side panel to the right of the entry door. While the earth tones of the colored art glass refer to the green spaces found throughout the city, the geometric arrangement of the window captures the history of Pasadena architecture and urban design.
