DESCRIPTION
David Wilkins has created a large, abstract sculpture for the corner of Lake Ave. overlooking the 210 Freeway where it greets motorists entering Pasadena's Playhouse District. The warm Pasadena afternoon sunlight shines through the circular crevice formed by the crescents cut out of the two sculptural pillars standing side by side. The arrangement of the sculptural pieces creates a visual gateway into Pasadena.
