DESCRIPTION
Laddie John Dill incorporated his artwork, Light Trap, onto elevator shafts facing an interior parking court. With their burnished oil finish, the pieces respond to their architectural environment on a grand scale, creating reflections of the building that shift in the light and an abstract composition of color and texture that refers to the immediate landscape. His finishing and burnishing techniques allow his work to capture and control light without creating glare or other potential distractions.
