Ma guando vien lo sgelo. Il primo sole e mio.

DESCRIPTION

On the Euclid side of the building, this is one of two murals exploring the natural world of Pasadena, a favorite theme of Arts and Crafts artisans. The elements of the first mural on the left side of the building provide context that clearly states, "This is Pasadena," with the incorporation of the beloved Arroyo Seco Bridge and bright flowers that bloom larger than life under the bridge. Translated, the title reads: "But when the thaw comes, the first sunshine is mine." The mural references the warm southern California sunshine captured in the light reflecting off the white flower blossoms within the mural.
