DESCRIPTION
Planting a Garden creates a green zone with floral sculptures and planted wildflowers in a highly trafficked corridor. Five hand painted panels are formed to conjure a Japanese folding screen and provide an illuminated landscape amidst the businesses of this semi-industrial area. The floral images reference the San Gabriel Valley ecosystem and are a metaphor for Pasadena's diversity.
