DESCRIPTION
Simply titled, Woman at Dusk, Storch's piece depicts a woman walking past the Crown City building, where the mural is located along with Ray Turner's Mt. Wilson at Dusk mural. Looking down, the subject appears to be lost in her thoughts of train schedules or dinner, perhaps even completely unaware of her surroundings. Observed by at least one other person, she is still able to create a private moment of beauty, a topographic place of her own, in the public sphere created by the development.
