On March 19, 2020, in concert with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, Pasadena Health Officer Dr. Ying-Ying Goh issued a Safer at Home Order for control of COVID-19. The purpose of this order is to slow the spread of COVID-19 within the Pasadena community.

The new State of California Stay at Home Order, issued by the State Health Officer on December 3, 2020 supersedes any and all City of Pasadena Stay at Home Orders to the extent the City Orders impose restrictions less stringent than those of the new State Stay at Home Order.
