Birth and Death Records
The Pasadena Vital Records Office maintains birth and death records for events occurring in Pasadena.
Effective January 1, 2019, per California State Law, Health and Safety Code, Section 102365, the City of Pasadena Office of Vital Records will only issue birth and death certificates within two years of the date of the event. To obtain prior records, contact the Los Angeles County Registrar- Recorder at (562) 462-2137 or visit their website at www.lavote.net
Health Insurance Enrollment
The Pasadena Public Health Department seeks to reduce the number of uninsured children and families, and improve the overall health of Pasadena residents by providing access to care. Our health insurance outreach program helps enroll single adults, families, pregnant women, and children in health insurance programs.

The Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA is a donor-supported, nonprofit organization that provides animal care and services for homeless and owned animals in the Greater Los Angeles Area. The organization is dedicated to promoting humane treatment and compassion and care for all animals.
