Mulch Giveaway Program
Adding mulch to landscapes is an easy way to save water. Mulch helps soil hold water, moderate temperature, and reduce evaporation. Mulch can also be used as the brown material for your backyard composting.
The City of Pasadena offers FREE mulch for residents. This mulch comes from City trees that have been removed and recycled.
Stop by the following locations to pick up mulch for your landscape. Mulch is available for pickup while the park is open (typically from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.). Please bring a shovel, containers, gloves, and eye protection to collect the mulch. If you have any questions, please contact the City Service Center at 626-744-7311.
