The City of Pasadena’s 2026 Rental Registration period opened September 1 and will continue through October 31, 2026. To help property owners complete their registration, the Rent Stabilization Department (RSD) is offering free, in-person walk-in sessions at several locations throughout the city. Staff will be available to answer questions, guide owners through registration and help address any issues they may encounter. All sessions are free, and no appointment is required.
Walk-in assistance will be available at the following locations:
Victory Park Recreation Center — 2575 Paloma St.
- Thursday, September 3 — 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday, September 21 — 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Robinson Park Recreation Center — 1081 N. Fair Oaks Ave.
- Tuesday, September 15 — 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Wednesday, September 30 — 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Rent Stabilization Department Office — 199 S. Los Robles Ave., First Floor Conference Room
- Thursday, October 8 — 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 13 — 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday, October 22 — 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Thursday, October 29 — 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Property owners who are unable to attend one of these walk-in sessions may schedule an appointment for assistance at a time that works for them.
Property owners are asked to bring their Assessor Parcel Number (APN) and PIN, which were mailed to the address on file for each property. Owners who did not receive this notice, or who do not have their APN and PIN, may contact the Rent Stabilization Department at (626) 744-7999 for assistance.
The following information will be required to complete registration:
- Unit address and unit number/designation
- Exemption status and supporting documentation, if applicable
- Tenancy details, including start date, initial rent, current rent, and the date and amount of the most recent rent increase
- Number of occupants and security deposit collected at the start of tenancy
- Unit size, including number of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and square footage
- Services included with rent, such as utilities, laundry, and parking
- Property owner and billing contact information
- Business ownership details, including LLC or partnership members and managers, if applicable
- Property manager contact information, if applicable
