Pasadena Street Design Guide Community Workshop – January 26, 2017

Community Workshop
Thursday, January 26th, 6pm-8pm
Pasadena City Hall, Grand Conference Room,
City Hall Basement, 100 North Garfield Ave
Pasadena, CA 91101

Come join us for a community-wide workshop to learn about the City of Pasadena’s new Street Design Guide! The City of Pasadena will showcase elements of the Draft Street Design Guide, ask for feedback from the community, and will be available to answer any questions regarding the project. In 2015, the City updated the Mobility Element of its General Plan. This new Mobility Element includes goals and objectives for future street design in the City and highlights the importance of designing complete streets that accommodate all users and reflect local community character. The Street Design Guide is the implementation mechanism for the City’s Mobility Element and Complete Streets Policy.

The Street Design Guide aims to ensure that all streets fit their intended context, function, and transportation mode, and will be used as a tool to help increase the safety of Pasadena streets for all users – motorists, pedestrians, transit users, and cyclists alike. Come join us to find out more about the plan!
