Avenue 64 Complete Streets Project January 2021 Update

Project Background

The Complete Streets process began in October 2013 by sending out a questionnaire/survey to obtain information from residents on their traffic related concerns. A working group of San Rafael area residents and a kick-off meeting was held in November 2013 to discuss the Complete Streets Program and the results of the initial survey.

Subsequent follow-up community meetings through November 2014 and rounds of funding procurement produced the following concept:

Comments

As it has been several years since the last round of community outreach, we encourage you to provide your input on this project in the comment box below:

Due to current safer at home orders, we are unable to host a targeted discussion with the residents who live in and around the project area. In order to most equally collect input and ideas from the residents in the San Rafael neighborhood, input will be solicited via the below comment box and identified to City staff by the name and address of the commenter. Names and addresses will not be published in future outreach meetings but will be required for input to be considered representative of a resident that would most be affected by this effort.
