Background
In June 2010, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), in coordination with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), authorized moving forward with an environmental review phase for multi-modal solutions for the SR-710 study area.
Metro is the lead local agency for the study and Caltrans is the lead state agency. While Pasadena, its residents and businesses will be directly impacted if the study results in a construction project, neither the study nor any future project is under local control by the City of Pasadena.
