The scope of the improvements include, but not limited to:
- Removal and replacement of the skate park including the installation of new skate elements designed with the help of local community members;
- Removal and replacement of splash pad including installation of a new water capture/infiltration system;
- Drainage improvements to the grass area between the library and splash pad;
- Concrete repairs and re-surfacing of the basketball court;
- Renovations to the park restrooms;
- Installation of new shade structures for the playground; and
- LED lighting upgrades for the skate park and basketball court.
