Project Description
The Citywide Parks Playground Shade Structure Installations - Phase I CIP project provides for the design and construction of a playground shade structure installation at Victory Park and McDonald Park. Playground shade structures have several benefits including providing sun protection for users; creating cooler temperatures for the playground and equipment resulting in safer and longer periods of active use; and reducing wear and tear on equipment caused by constant sun exposure. USA Shade Structures, Inc. will be providing engineering and design services, materials, and installation of the new shade structures at McDonald Park and Victory Park. The structures will provide shade for the entire playground equipment area, see attached drawings.
