Message from the City Manager:
Dear Pasadena Community,
It is my privilege to present the City of Pasadena’s 2024 Annual Report, highlighting our achievements, ongoing initiatives, and what lies ahead. This year, we have made significant strides in public safety, affordable housing, infrastructure modernization, and community services.
Key accomplishments include the successful passage of Measure PL to retrofit and upgrade our historic Central Library, the opening of the Washington Park Community House, and continued investments in sustainable transportation, public health, and economic development. Our commitment to innovation is reflected in new technology initiatives, environmental sustainability efforts, and expanded access to essential city services.
In accordance with the Pasadena City Council’s priorities, we remain focused on fostering a sustainable, inclusive, and forward-thinking community. From expanding housing affordability to strengthening climate resilience and enhancing mobility, we are committed to implementing policies and programs that serve all residents.
Looking ahead, Pasadena will continue to embrace innovation and economic opportunity while preserving its rich history and cultural identity. Through strategic infrastructure investments, emerging technology, and collaborative partnerships, we are working to enhance the quality of life for everyone who lives, works, and visits our city.
