GROUP SWIM LESSONS (LEVELS TT-5)

Open to ages 17 and under. Swim levels are based on swimming skills per the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program. For more information, visit the Swim Levels and Lessons webpage.

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS (AGES 5+)

Private lessons are available for children and adults ages 5+ at a cost of $35 per class. Lessons run for 30 minutes and involve one-on-one instruction with a swim instructor. Hours for private lessons take place on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. during the summer season (at designated pools) and 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. during September – May at Honorable John J. Kennedy Pool.

LAP SWIM (AGES 15+)

Swimming lanes may be reserved in 30 minute intervals. Please arrive 5 minutes before scheduled swim time and depart within 5 minutes of the end of your reservation.

ADULT WATER EXERCISE (AGES 18-49)

Get in shape with a water exercise class offered at our selected City of Pasadena aquatics facilities. Our friendly staff make the exercises fun and exciting. The pool is accessible to everyone and the water is heated year-round at a warm 89° F temperature. This is a wonderful opportunity for an invigorating, toning, and cardio-conducting workout. This class offers a full-body workout without the impact on your joints.

OLDER ADULT AEROBICS (AGES 50+)

Adult water exercise class designed for adults ages 50+. Enjoy a full-body workout without the impact on your joints.

SUMMER SWIM TEAM (AGES 7-17)

The summer swim team located at Pasadena High School (PHS) and the Honorable John J. Kennedy Pool (12 p.m. - 1 p.m.) offers swim technique, flip turns, diving starts, lap counting, swimming etiquette, and many lifelong skills. Participants work together as a team while learning how to become skilled and efficient swimmers. This program is FREE to the public but registration is required to participate.

SUMMER WATER POLO (AGES 7-17)

Summer water polo located at Pasadena High School (PHS) and The Honorable John J Kennedy Pool (12 p.m. - 1 p.m.) offers teamwork, perseverance, throwing, passing, blocking, treading water, game rules, game tactics, and many more lifelong skills that will help improve your swimmer's abilities in any aquatic activity.
